Ceramic artist Richard Buncamper holds a BFA from Howard University and an MFA from Alfred University. For over thirty years he taught both graduate students and undergraduates at Kean University before retiring in 2007.

Richard has exhibited widely including at Lake Wales Art Center, Indianapolis Art Center, Springfield (OH) Museum of Art, Howard University, Baltimore Clayworks, and many others.
